Good, but not my favorite burger. Fries are AMAZING! Reasonably priced. You have to experience the luxury seating. Friendly and funky.

An unassuming hole in the wall hamburger joint, but packs a punch like a heavyweight. Staff extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A must visit if you are in the area.

Honestly, I wasn't blown away with an out of this world mouthwatering burger. the patty size should have been bigger for a $10 entree that includes fries. The fries were a little greasy but had a larger than expected portion size. The service was excellent! Very nice guy and even allowed me to return to my vehicle and walked my food out to me so I did not have to stand in the cold.

Quality burgers done right without all the flashy extra stuff. Locally sourced beef. Delicious house made fries that you won't find anywhere else. Great chicken tenders/wings and salad options too.

Delicious burger & fries. Made to order. Fries were perfectly done. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Burger was so good with grilled onions & Muenster cheese on it. Love the bottled Coke, too. We all enjoyed our dinner.

Cool little place with amazing burgers and fries! Always my first stop when I get to town. Everything cooked and seasoned to perfection. No frills, fast/friendly service and delicious food! They have vegetarian options, too! Just opened a second location closer to downtown on 5th Ave. Food there is outstanding as well!

Great quality burgers and fries to die for! Call ahead and they will have your order ready for you when you walk up. It's also nice just to sit at their picnic tables. Always friendly staff and some sound as if they could be radio announces :)

The Grillshack has hands-down one of the BEST veggie burgers I've ever had!! They are handmade & seasoned to perfection. And then, there's the fries- hand-cut, cooked to order, crispy, golden brown bites of complete awesomeness. This is comfort food at it's absolute best!! Each item is cooked to order so, when it's busy- expect to wait a few minutes but, it's totally worth the wait!!

I've always heard good things from this spot, so decided to check it out. This may be the best experience you can have eating an A++ burger under a wooden shack on Earth. Pulled up around 1:00pm-1:15pm on a weekday. Couple people were outside eating. Grillshack burger is a must. Takes about 10 minutes for your order so you could hang out and walk around. Maybe look at sky, idk. They take cash or card. Staff was super friendly. No warm napkins, no bottle service, nobody giving you a massage before your meal. Just a damn good burger you can enjoy in a shack.

Absolutely awesome food. I reccomend the burger and fries. Customer service was extremely good food was served in a good amount of time and cooked to perfection. If you haven't tried out eating here you should asap!

This is a literal shack on the side of the road, but it is awesome! Stopped here on a roadtrip from Chicago to Atlanta and it was definitely worth the detour. One of the best burgers I have ever had (and I have had a LOT of burgers). You just have to go and try it because there is no other place like it. You will be amazed by the quality of food that they churn out of tiny shack.

You want a burger and fries that make you feel like you've died, gone to heaven, and had the Good Lord above Cook for you? Well this is where you're gonna get it. You probably don't even have to pray before you eat, since I'm pretty sure the Angel Gabriel is head chef under the management of Christ himself. When you eat there, heaven parts, angels sing, and puppies frolic at your feet with joy.I'm sad I can only rate them 5 stars.

Nothing fancy about this place. Picnic tables under a shed, styrofoam boxes and soda pop. Don't drive fast or you'll miss it. Plenty of free parking in gravel lot. Hamburgers from porter road butcher and French fries that are always hot and fresh. Expect a wait at lunch of 5 or 10 minutes.

Been searching for the perfect burger in Nashville. Got told about this place. Not much they do wrong here. Toasted brioche bun, local beef. Tons of offerings for sauces including old Bay. Can't argue with anything. Down home burger done right. Not trying to be elevated which I like.

If I could give the Gill Shack 10 stars I would. We purchased our Green Mountain grill elsewhere and had nothing but trouble with it from the get go. The business where we purchased it (Kalona) refused to stand behind the product as well as the Green Mountain company itself. We finally took it to Grill Shack for repair and they treated us like we had purchased it from them. Top notch customer service despite being swamped. Once we picked up the grill they accidentally forgot to put the grills back into our unit. They overnighted them and I received them within 24 hours. They basically replaced everything but the shell and the repair bill was very reasonable. Next time I need to purchase a grill it will be from the Grill Shack. Thank you Grill Shack, a business who cares about it customers.

First impression was the smile from the gentleman taking our order. He answered our questions and was quick when my son changed his order. Great made to order local grass fed beef burgers. They also offer vegetarian options!! This grill-shack offers a simple menu! About 10$ per burger!! Outside dining option! No indoor option! If you don’t mind eating outside this burger was pretty darn good!!! Family enjoyed the food!!! As another reviewer mentioned, you blink you will miss it!!

It's just perfect. A find on Google for burgers in Nashville as I was driving through and Maps took me right to it. Outdoor seating at picnic tables. Soft drinks in glass bottles. Walk up window and easy ordering. The burger was absolutely perfect. Juicy, hot, great "chew" to the bun. Dress it how you will. Fries were hot and had delicious. I guarantee next time I am out that way I will.find a reason to stop here again. Absolutely recommend.

One of my absolute favorites for burgers and fries. They don't try to get too fancy, they've got a great basic burger. Fries are delicious. They are literally a shack with some outdoor seating so know that going in. They have a veggie burger, chicken strips and kid options as well as some grilled cheese for those looking for non-beef options. Glass bottles of soda to drink.

Working nearby so my coworkers & I stopped here for lunch. It was fantastic! My hamburger was awesome but I think the fries were my favorite. You have got to try this place! Especially if you're a burger freak like me. You won't regret it!

East Nashville’s best kept secret! One of the best burgers in town, delicious hand cut fries, and wonderful wings (I’m partial to the regular buffalo, but the Old Bay are good too). I’ll assume the salads are good too, though I’ve never had one of them.

Seriously an underrated burger joint. No frills. Just good burgers. Some of the BEST I've ever had, not only in Nashville, but probably my life. Definitely go for the grillshack burger. There's nothing else like it. Quick service, friendly people, and delicious burgers. Nothing more to ask for.
